About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in an acute‑care surgical setting. Guided by evidence‑based standards and organizational values, the role emphasizes cultural respect, safety, and collaborative practice.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence‑based practices.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision‑making to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care while fostering teamwork, inclusion, and respectful interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Support performance improvement activities, research utilization, and shared governance to enhance patient safety and care quality.
• Engage in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold nursing standards, policies, and ethical practices.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience.
• Registered Nurse license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and BLS, BLS Instructor, BLS Provisional certifications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and respond calmly to emergencies.
