About the role

The RN Clinical Charge Nurse leads and oversees daily unit operations in an outpatient clinic, ensuring safe, high‑quality patient care through evidence‑based practice.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate patient care through assessments, planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Assign staff, review patient flow, and participate in physician rounds and unit management tasks.
Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
Lead quality improvement initiatives, promote evidence‑based practice, and support staff development and mentorship.
Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and leadership to optimize care delivery.

Required profile

Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.
Minimum one year of nursing experience or two years in a relief charge role.
Current RN licensure and required certifications upon hire.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
RN licensure.
