About the role

The Physical Therapist provides assessment, planning, and implementation of rehabilitative programs for patients with injuries or diseases in an acute care setting, focusing on mobility improvement, pain reduction, and prevention of deformity.

Key responsibilities

Develop and adjust treatment plans, select appropriate activities, and set goals with input from patients and families.
Collaborate with physicians to evaluate progress, establish realistic discharge strategies, and document all evaluations and treatments per protocol.
Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals while maintaining professional standards and confidentiality.

Required profile

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Current Physical Therapist license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Effective communication, customer‑service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.

Required skills

Physical therapy assessment and treatment planning.
Documentation according to departmental protocols.
