About the role
The Physical Therapy Assistant works alongside licensed Physical Therapists to deliver treatment programs that improve patients' mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
Key responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans and select appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
- Revise care plans in partnership with therapists, patients, and families.
- Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, follow‑up, and referrals.
- Document treatment sessions accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy or related field (High School Diploma required).
- PTA license and BLS or equivalent certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
