Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical – Full‑Time Days

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to join a dynamic, multi‑campus care team supporting a high‑impact healthcare system. The role focuses on delivering personalized, evidence‑based nursing care while fostering meaningful connections with patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, evidence‑based nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Build meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
• Collaborate within a team to create a safe, respectful environment and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead in applying evidence‑based practices, participate in research, and support patient safety and quality improvement efforts.
• Proactively manage resources and care plans to enhance patient experiences and reduce readmissions.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license (single or multi‑state) with BLS and ACLS certifications; national specialty certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg experience.
• Proficiency in computer data entry; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical‑thinking, and time‑management skills; ability to remain calm under pressure and handle clinical emergencies effectively.

Required skills

• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office and basic tech tools.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Experience with 3M documentation systems.
• Competence in computer data entry.
