About the role

The Registered Nurse provides quality patient care on a medical‑surgical unit, working full‑time day shifts. The role involves collaborating with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs while serving as a liaison between patients, families, and providers.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care plans, prioritize patient flow, and document assessments and interventions.
Address patient concerns, educate families, communicate essential information, and promote patient‑centered care to enhance satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements, support quality initiatives, and contribute ideas for better outcomes.
Maintain licensure, pursue ongoing training, mentor colleagues, uphold confidentiality and safety standards, and participate in shared governance activities.

Required profile

Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
Current RN license (multi‑state or single‑state certification).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
