Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Post Surgical and Telemetry Fulltime

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care in a clinical setting. They follow evidence‑based practices aligned with organizational models and adhere to professional standards outlined by regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients and families, utilizing appropriate communication methods for education and goal setting.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through interdisciplinary teamwork, timely documentation, and fostering an inclusive environment.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research utilization, and evidence‑based practice to enhance care quality.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, promoting professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Participate in data collection, protocol development, and resource management to improve clinical outcomes.

Required profile

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; BLS certification required.
• Minimum five years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate in fast‑paced environments and respond effectively to emergencies.
