Registered Nurse – Acute Care – Orthopedic Surgery – PRN

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high‑quality, safe, patient‑centered care within an interdisciplinary team in an acute care setting, focusing on orthopedic surgical patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence‑based practices.
• Deliver relationship‑based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient populations.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision‑making.
• Coordinate safe, quality patient care and documentation, promoting teamwork and respectful interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and adherence to clinical standards and organizational policies.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Participate in data collection, protocol development, and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (preferred).
• Current RN license (single or multi‑state) with BLS certification.
• Experience in direct patient care preferred.
