About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high‑quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on orthopedic surgical patients during night shifts. This part‑time position emphasizes professional development, evidence‑based practice, and teamwork to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence‑based practice.
• Deliver relationship‑based, patient‑centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals guide care plans.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care while promoting teamwork and respectful communication.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence‑based practice activities.
• Support resource planning, protocol development, and adherence to policies and safety standards.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent, future‑ready nursing workforce.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience with direct patient care (preferred).
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, time‑management, and technological skills.
