Registered Nurse – Acute Care Orthopedic Surgery (Part‑Time Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care – Orthopedic Surgery to join a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high‑quality, safe, and patient‑centered care during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence‑based practices.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision‑making.
• Coordinate and document safe, high‑quality care while fostering teamwork within interdisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to performance‑improvement initiatives, evidence‑based research, data collection, and protocol development.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to support professional development of future staff.
• Adhere to organizational, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards, including health and safety goals.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
