Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Full-Time Day Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high‑quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on individual patient needs and outcomes. The RN works under the guidance of Nurse Managers, supports evidence‑based standards, and upholds professional and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.
• Deliver relationship‑based, patient‑centered care, respecting cultural diversity and partnering with patients and families.
• Coordinate safe care delivery, document appropriately, and foster teamwork through effective communication and collaboration.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence‑based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
• Mentor and serve as a preceptor for colleagues, ensuring a competent, professional workforce.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills; ability to work effectively in fast‑paced and emergency situations.
