Registered Nurse – Acute Care Ortho Surgical – Full-Time Night Shift

About the role

The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to work full‑time night shifts in an acute care orthopaedic surgical unit. The RN will deliver safe, individualized patient care and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, safe, individualized patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and partner with patients and families, ensuring cultural competence.
• Promote evidence‑based practice, participate in performance improvement and support research activities.
• Coordinate care, develop protocols and optimize resource use to improve patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• BLS certification required upon hire.
