About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant works alongside licensed physical therapists to deliver patient‑centered care, helping individuals regain mobility, strength, and coordination after illness or injury.

Key responsibilities

Implement treatment plans and select appropriate therapeutic activities.
Revise goals in collaboration with therapists and educate patients and families.
Document each session according to established protocols and complete required reports.
Provide discharge instructions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

High school diploma.
Associate degree in Physical Therapy.
PTA certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

Effective communication.
Customer‑service orientation.
Teamwork.
Basic computer proficiency.
