Medical Director / Senior Medical Director – Neurology or Psychiatry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Director or Senior Medical Director to work remotely from select EMEA locations. The role involves providing medical monitoring, pharmacovigilance support, and expert guidance across neurology or psychiatry clinical research projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver all medical support required for successful project delivery, including study planning, investigator meetings, and training of study teams.
• Develop and review study documents such as protocols, Medical Monitoring Plans, safety plans, and informed consent forms.
• Provide medical monitoring activities according to plans, act as Global or Regional Lead Physician, and contribute to pharmacovigilance workflows.
• Support business development by offering medical expertise to clients and consulting on protocol and drug development programs.

Required profile

• Medical qualification from an accredited school with at least 5 years of clinical practice.
• Qualified Neurologist or Psychiatrist with up‑to‑date therapeutic knowledge.
• Experience as a medical monitor, preferably within a CRO, and background in drug development and safety.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
