Health Aide 3 – Inpatient Mental Health Support

About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a compassionate Health Aide 3 to join the East Central Regional Hospital team in Augusta. You will work in an acute inpatient setting, supporting adults with serious mental illness and related challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Assist nurses and doctors with direct patient care activities.
- Support daily living skills and basic patient needs.
- Take vital signs and perform other medical procedures under nursing supervision.
- Help create a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in a related caregiving role or as a Health Aide 2.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, person‑centered setting.
