About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse works night shifts on a PRN (as‑needed) basis, providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care while coordinating the nursing team and acting as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

Monitor, evaluate and respond to patient conditions, contributing to care plans and documentation.
Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families and maintaining effective communication.
Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives and support changes that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Maintain current professional licenses, stay up‑to‑date with industry practices and pursue ongoing development.
Mentor and support peers, promote a positive work environment and adhere to confidentiality and safety standards.

Required profile

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
Current BLS certification.
Active RN licensure (multi‑state or single‑state).
Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork and professionalism.
