RN - Acute Care - Night Shift

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, delivering individualized, high‑quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting supported by leadership and shared governance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence‑based practice and critical thinking.
• Provide relationship‑based, patient‑centered care tailored to cultural and demographic factors.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals are central.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care, fostering teamwork and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence‑based practice.
• Participate in professional development, mentoring, and maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
• Contribute to resource management, protocol development, and system‑wide best practices.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Active RN license (single or multi‑state compact) and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.).
• Less than one year of clinical experience; clinical hours from approved nursing programs are required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to evidence‑based practice.

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
