About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care – Orthopedic Surgical, delivering high‑quality, safe patient care during night shifts in a clinical setting. The role focuses on patient‑centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous improvement of practice.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence‑based practices.
• Provide relationship‑based, patient‑centered care tailored to individual and cultural needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team, offering education and goal‑setting support.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teamwork, ensure accurate documentation, and promote an inclusive environment.
• Support performance‑improvement initiatives, participate in research, and model professional practice as a preceptor or mentor.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• Less than one year of clinical nursing experience preferred; clinical hours completed in approved nursing programs are required.
