Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, providing high-quality, individualized patient care in a collaborative, evidence‑based environment. The role involves delivering patient‑centered care during night shifts in an acute care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence‑based practices and critical thinking.
• Deliver patient‑centered care tailored to diverse populations, incorporating cultural competence and family involvement.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, ensuring their goals guide care plans.
• Coordinate safe, quality care within an interdisciplinary team, documenting accurately and fostering a respectful environment.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold clinical standards and organizational policies.
• Act as a preceptor or mentor, promoting professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and data collection to enhance patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Active RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Less than one year of clinical experience preferred, with completion of an approved nursing program.
• Knowledge of nursing standards, collaborative teamwork, critical thinking, and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
