RN – Acute Care Orthopedic Surgery – Part‑Time Night Shift

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care within an interdisciplinary team in an acute‑care orthopedic surgical setting, following evidence‑based standards and professional guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation and evaluation tailored to each patient.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education and shared decision‑making.
• Coordinate safe, quality care using interdisciplinary collaboration and timely documentation.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research activities and evidence‑based practice to enhance outcomes.
• Serve as preceptor or mentor to foster professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Participate in developing protocols, managing resources and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
• Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and current BLS certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with clinical technology and electronic health record systems.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
