About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient‑centered care within an interdisciplinary team in an acute‑care setting, focusing on orthopedic surgery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using critical thinking and evidence‑based standards.
• Partner with patients and their families through effective communication, education, and shared decision‑making to promote optimal outcomes.
• Coordinate safe, high‑quality care across the team, ensuring timely documentation and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Contribute to quality improvement, research, and performance initiatives, supporting organizational goals and safety standards.
• Serve as preceptor or mentor, promoting professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Support resource management, protocol development, and evidence‑based decision‑making to enhance patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Active RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills, with the ability to respond effectively in emergencies and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, applying evidence and analytical skills with critical thinking.
