Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery/Bariatric – Acute Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will join an interdisciplinary acute‑care team focused on surgery and bariatric patients. The RN provides safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centered care, conducts comprehensive assessments and contributes to care plans and outcome evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Deliver culturally competent, relationship‑based care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Communicate and educate patients and families effectively.
• Coordinate safe and efficient care delivery, maintain accurate documentation, and promote a respectful environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
• Support professional development through mandatory education and mentorship.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize outcomes.
• Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
• Less than one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
