About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a surgery/bariatric acute‑care setting. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the nurse uses evidence‑based practices to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care while respecting cultural sensitivities.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate care through effective communication and partnerships with patients, families, and the care team.
Participate in performance improvement, research initiatives, and shared governance activities.
Support mentoring, professional development, and promote evidence‑based practice.
Develop clinical protocols and contribute to resource efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health‑system policies, professional, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum two years of direct patient care experience.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong interpersonal, critical‑thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
