Registered Nurse – Med‑Surg Night Shift (Full‑Time)

About the role

This position is for an experienced Med Surg RN supporting a multi‑campus care team in a high‑impact healthcare environment. The RN will deliver personalized, evidence‑based nursing care, build strong patient and family relationships, and contribute to a collaborative, respectful team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring exemplary patient outcomes.
• Foster meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
• Participate in performance improvement, research initiatives, and shared governance.
• Lead evidence‑based practice implementation and support continuous quality improvement.
• Plan care proactively, help develop protocols, and optimize resource use to enhance patient experiences.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license (single or multi‑state), BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience and experience with computer data entry.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, with excellent critical thinking and time management skills.
• A passion for compassionate care, team collaboration, ongoing professional development, and evidence‑based practice.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems (a plus).
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office.
• Computer data entry proficiency.
