Parts Development Cost Management Specialist

About the role

This position oversees business planning, HR and administration functions within the Procurement Division of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, focusing on parts development cost management and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee business planning and HR & Administration functions for the Procurement Division.
• Develop and implement new operational standards and procedures.
• Manage HR processes, employee training, General Affairs, and IT for the division.
• Maintain procurement material records, contracts and organize documentation for efficient retrieval.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars and coordinating correspondence.
• Plan, coordinate and distribute information regarding production and potential supplier engagements.
• Maintain and update the supplier information database.
• Deliver training on requisition processes to procurement team members.
• Identify and implement improvements to purchasing procedures.
• Develop annual business plans, monitor progress and evaluate achievement against goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures, innovate and build relationships without formal authority.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
