Part-Time Acute Care/Med‑Surg Registered Nurse

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse works within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, safe, and patient‑centered care in an acute care/med‑surg setting. The role follows evidence‑based standards and organizational values while ensuring compliance with licensing and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care with individualized and culturally sensitive approaches.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision‑making to achieve patient goals.
• Coordinate safe and efficient care delivery, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote positive outcomes.
• Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring, and serving as a preceptor.
• Promote evidence‑based practice, participate in research, and contribute to performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Valid RN license (single or multi‑state) and BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Minimum five years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
