About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high‑quality, safe, patient‑centered care in an acute care/med‑surg setting. The role uses evidence‑based practices, performs comprehensive assessments, and develops individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes while supporting professional development and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence‑based standards.
• Deliver culturally competent, relationship‑based care tailored to patient demographics.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education.
• Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration and thorough documentation.
• Support performance improvement, research, and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
• Assist in protocol development and resource management to enhance care efficiency.
• Mentor peers and serve as a resource for ongoing professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure (single or multi‑state compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care.
• Proficiency in clinical technology and documentation.
