Part-Time Acute Care/Med-Surg Registered Nurse

About the role

The RN provides acute care and medical‑surgical nursing in a part‑time capacity, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient‑centered care. The role follows evidence‑based practice, upholds the nursing scope, and aligns with organizational values.

Key responsibilities

• Implement clinical care plans and promote cultural competence.
• Facilitate effective communication through bedside reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Document care accurately and support performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Participate in shared governance and serve as a preceptor or mentor.
• Promote research, collect data, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
• Plan patient care proactively, develop protocols, and utilize resources efficiently.

Required profile

• Active RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum five years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in English.
