MRI Technologist

About the role

This position provides safe, age‑appropriate MRI imaging services in a patient‑centered environment. The technologist works independently to acquire high‑quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations with independent judgment.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Obtain complete clinical histories and assess contraindications.
• Prepare and position patients, operate MRI equipment, and administer contrast when required.
• Maintain equipment, conduct quality‑control checks, and document procedures accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Assist in training staff and support departmental operations while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Accredited Medical Technology program background.
• ARMRIT or ARRT‑MR certification and BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of successful MRI program completion.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities, able to work under pressure.
