Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist – Full‑Time Night Shift

About the role

Performs clinical laboratory testing under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols. Maintains equipment, records, and participates in quality assurance activities. May supervise and teach laboratory staff.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate patient and quality‑assurance testing, documenting investigations and interpreting data effectively.
• Report lab results timely, recognizing clinical implications and maintaining instrument functionality.
• Monitor information flow, investigate issues, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Contribute to performance improvements, inspection readiness, and cost‑efficient practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; participate in meetings and educational activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's in Medical Technology or Medical Science; Master's preferred.
• Certification such as MT(ASCP) or equivalent required upon hire.
• At least one year of laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer/data entry.
• MS Office.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
• Experience with Epic and 3M is a plus.
