About the role

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. They assist with providing safe, age‑appropriate care, operate imaging equipment, and maintain technical proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust imaging techniques to minimize radiation dose while maintaining quality.
• Verify patient identity and clinical information, ensuring proper procedure preparation.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Assist patients with exams, ensuring comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Follow infection control policies, proper sterile techniques, and safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff, providing pre‑ and post‑procedure instructions.
• Contribute to quality control, ensuring acceptable imaging results and proper documentation.
• Support departmental operations, restocking supplies, transporting patients, and maintaining a clean environment.

Required profile

• Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT‑R certification.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or equivalent).
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently with critical thinking skills.
