About the role

The Clinical Outcomes Manager (COM) is an advanced practice nurse responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives and ensuring safe, high‑quality patient care. The role focuses on data‑driven decision making, evidence‑based practice integration, and fostering professional growth within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous quality improvement efforts, analyze performance data, and implement evidence‑based changes to enhance patient outcomes and compliance with standards.
• Evaluate patient care data to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, proactively prevent hospital‑acquired conditions, and support interdisciplinary care planning.
• Drive staff professional development through mentorship, training, and competency assessment in quality practices.
• Integrate research and evidence‑based practices into care delivery, fostering innovation and contributing to policy development.
• Collaborate with leadership to advance quality initiatives, optimize resources, and promote a culture of clinical inquiry and improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Business Administration/Management.
• Current RN license (single state or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification; board certification required for advanced practice providers.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, with 5+ years in roles focused on patient outcomes, quality, or process improvement preferred.
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with leadership experience preferred.
