Word and PDF Expert (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Word and PDF specialists to support high‑impact document projects for regulated industries. This remote contract position focuses on delivering precise editing, formatting, and data extraction while ensuring compliance with client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, edit, and format complex Word and PDF files, applying tracked changes, comments, and version control.
• Create, edit, and populate dynamic forms and templates for professional use.
• Extract, consolidate, and validate data from documents for downstream processing.
• Implement document workflows for legal, regulatory, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide training and best‑practice guidance on advanced Word and PDF features.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of intensive experience with Microsoft Word and PDF tools in a professional setting.
• Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or JD) in a relevant field such as law, healthcare, finance, or public policy.
• Proven track record supporting Fortune 500 or similarly regulated clients.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote, deadline‑driven environment.
