About the role

The Operational Support Department of the Bank of Georgia is looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead the procurement function. You will be responsible for identifying demand, selecting suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services that meet quality and cost standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify demand for goods and services across the bank.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
• Manage inventory and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers, including strategy development and quality control.
• Conduct periodic reviews of contract values and perform market price comparisons.
• Analyze product pricing and assess its impact on future activities.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Develop quarterly and annual procurement operational plans.
• Handle budgeting, expense analysis, and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or master’s student) in finance, business administration or management.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement.
