Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Cino is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Incentive Compensation team. You will work across a .NET and Angular stack, taking full ownership of features from design through delivery while collaborating closely with product and engineering peers.

Key responsibilities

• Guide architectural decisions, enforce best practices, and mentor teammates on automation and testing.
• Lead brainstorming sessions, develop proof‑of‑concepts, and evaluate new technologies, including AI/ML tools.
• Design scalable, maintainable solutions and manage software dependencies.
• Drive automated testing, code quality, and continuous improvement of the developer experience.
• Support product managers in launch planning, release coordination, and cross‑team collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• .NET (C#) development.
• Angular (TypeScript) front‑end development.
• Version control with Git.
• Agile/SCRUM and Test‑Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• ETL processes, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for code generation, testing, and optimization.
