Lead Frontend Engineer (React)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer to head the UI CORE team at net2phone. The role combines hands‑on coding with technical leadership for a suite of web applications, including the main web app, admin console, supervisor and receptionist consoles, call‑queues wallboard, dialer, and shared UI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical direction for the team’s applications and the shared UI platform.
• Own delivery to production, managing builds, caching, CDN, releases and handling production incidents.
• Maintain the team’s application template used for new projects.
• Set code‑review standards, manage technical debt and uphold quality standards.
• Represent frontend in architecture discussions with backend, platform and product leads.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a small distributed frontend team and growing engineers.
• Strong expertise in React, with experience migrating from Angular.
• Hands‑on experience delivering frontend to production, including builds, caching, CDN and release processes.
• Daily use of AI‑assisted development tools.
• Comfortable running Scrum for the team.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
