Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Counsel to lead our commercial transactions function, focusing on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, AI‑enabled offerings and data‑processing agreements. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive growth while managing legal risk and shaping scalable contracting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on customer‑facing and strategic commercial agreements, including SaaS, cloud, AI and partnership contracts.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, Security, Procurement and other stakeholders to align legal strategy with business objectives.
• Provide proactive, solution‑oriented legal counsel on commercial, operational and strategic matters.
• Manage a high volume of contracts, from straightforward to complex, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Identify contractual issues early and develop practical solutions.
• Drive process improvements, create standard forms and streamline contracting workflows.

Required profile

• Qualified attorney with extensive experience in commercial transactions for technology companies.
• Proven ability to work fast, think strategically and handle complex negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Demonstrated track record of turning ambiguity into clear, actionable guidance.
