RN - Acute Care - Night Shift

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting supported by shared governance and evidence‑based practices. The position focuses on delivering safe, culturally sensitive care during night shifts in an acute‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Performs the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) while ensuring care is patient‑centered and culturally sensitive.
• Collaborates with patients and families, coordinates safe care delivery, and supports performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Promotes evidence‑based practice, participates in research, and supports resource management.
• Serves as a preceptor or mentor, fosters a respectful environment, and adheres to policies, safety, and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN licensure (single or multi‑state) with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Less than one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Completion of accredited nursing education is required.
