About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver high‑quality, safe, patient‑centered care on a 28‑bed medical‑surgical unit, primarily caring for post‑surgical patients with telemetry and general med‑surg needs. The RN works within an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care based on evidence‑based practices.

Key responsibilities

Provide relationship‑based care, partner with patients and families, and practice current clinical standards.
Coordinate care, promote safety and quality improvement, and support performance initiatives.
Participate in team communication, documentation, and performance improvement activities.
Mentor colleagues and engage in professional development, including evidence‑based research and protocol development.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
Active RN license (single or multi‑state compact).
BLS certification required at hire.
Minimum six months of direct patient care experience.
