Registered Nurse – Acute Care Orthopedic Surgery (Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in an acute care orthopedic surgical setting during the night shift. The role involves applying the full nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence‑based patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Promote teamwork, participate in performance‑improvement initiatives, and support clinical research.
• Develop and follow protocols, ensure resource efficiency, and uphold safety and compliance standards.
• Mentor staff and adhere to all organizational policies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient‑care nursing experience.
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, respond to emergencies, and demonstrate critical thinking and time‑management.
• Proficiency with clinical technology and basic computer skills.
