Retail Director – Luxury Fashion

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Director to lead the flagship luxury department store of a premier Georgian retail group. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the in‑store experience, drive sales growth and champion the brand’s portfolio across a multicultural team.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, lead and evaluate a team of 25 staff members from diverse backgrounds.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards in visual merchandising, operations and service.
• Monitor KPIs and leverage CRM data to improve customer retention and sales performance.
• Act as Brand Ambassador, expanding the client portfolio and representing the brand at high‑profile events.
• Manage key client relationships with VIP and VVIP customers.
• Contribute to marketing and e‑commerce strategy development.
• Oversee daily administrative and back‑office operations.
• Analyse performance reports and provide insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Higher education degree.
• Proven leadership experience in luxury fashion and accessories retail.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and train large retail teams.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong cultural awareness and genuine interest in fashion.
• Tech‑savvy with a business‑oriented mindset.
• Customer‑focused with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
