Registered Nurse - Operating Room

About the role

The Operating Room Registered Nurse delivers high‑quality peri‑operative care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Acting as a key communicator, the RN ensures patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to clinical standards throughout surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist the surgical team with patient positioning, instrument preparation, and intra‑operative care.
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Document all nursing interventions accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Address patient and family concerns, provide education, and promote a patient‑centered experience.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support quality‑enhancement initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license with multi‑state eligibility.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) at time of hire.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and mentorship of peers.
