Quality Program Strategist II

About the role

Centene is seeking a Quality Program Strategist II to lead and enhance quality improvement initiatives across HEDIS, CAHPS, and HOS programs. This remote position works on EST hours and focuses on driving measurable improvements in member experience and health plan performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market trends and oversee quality improvement programs for HEDIS, CAHPS, and HOS.
• Analyze stakeholder business issues, formulate hypotheses, and recommend data‑driven solutions.
• Conduct end‑to‑end evaluations of measure specifications, performance trends, and industry research.
• Leverage data analysis to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with markets and key stakeholders to sustain measure performance.
• Develop support resources, tools, and training for quality improvement staff.
• Monitor compliance with state reporting, HHS, and HPMS memos.
• Establish policies and procedures for quality checks on member and provider communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 4+ years of clinical, managed‑care, or health‑insurance experience.
• 2+ years of quality improvement experience.
• Registered Nurse, LPN, LVN, LCSW, or similar license preferred; CPHQ certification a plus.
