About the role
The Project Manager will support UNDP Georgia’s Democratic Governance Portfolio, contributing to the implementation of the Country Programme Document 2026‑2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework. The role focuses on strengthening protection, inclusion, economic empowerment and civic participation of vulnerable communities across Georgia.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement initiatives that promote dialogue, advocacy and community‑based organization strengthening.
- Support projects that enhance social cohesion, resilience and economic empowerment for disadvantaged groups.
- Facilitate youth empowerment and civic engagement programmes, including leadership development and youth‑led initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Democratic Governance Team Leader and partners to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in democratic governance, community development or related fields.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable and under‑represented groups in Georgia.
- Ability to work in a multicultural, international environment.
