Physical Therapy Assistant (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to work alongside licensed physical therapists in delivering patient‑centered rehabilitation services. The role focuses on improving mobility, strength, coordination and range of motion across the care continuum.

Key responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under therapist supervision, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
• Revise care plans collaboratively with therapists and patients/families.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and submit required documentation per protocols.
• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional appearance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and participate in meetings and training.
• Ensure safe and cost‑efficient use of materials and equipment, observing infection control practices.
• Deliver excellent customer service, fostering a positive environment, teamwork, and respectful interactions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, complete mandatory training, and maintain licensure.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to organizational policies and standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma and Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
• Current PTA license.
• BLS certification.
• Effective communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
