Physical Therapy Assistant - Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to work alongside our Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. The assistant will help restore patients’ mobility, strength, coordination and range of motion through tailored treatment programs.

Key responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and select appropriate therapeutic activities.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to revise goals and document progress.
• Provide education to patients and families, including discharge instructions and community referrals.
• Maintain accurate session documentation in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Uphold ethical standards, patient confidentiality, safety and infection-control procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service using AIDET principles and contribute to a positive team environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma and an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) certification.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain basic computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic record keeping.
