MICE and Events Project Manager

About the role

Grata DMC is seeking a proactive Project Manager to own MICE programmes from the initial client brief through to final invoicing. You will be responsible for designing, costing, negotiating and delivering incentive trips, conferences and corporate events across Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret client briefs and create commercially viable, creative programmes.
• Accurately cost programmes, prepare proposals and negotiate rates with hotels, venues, transport and activity suppliers.
• Build detailed itineraries and operational documentation.
• Manage on‑site delivery, coordinate suppliers and resolve any issues that arise.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain supplier relationships and handle post‑programme reconciliation and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in MICE, DMC, incentive travel or event production, with programmes you have personally delivered.
• Fluent in Russian and English; Georgian strongly preferred.
• Proven supplier negotiation experience and strong costing/budgeting abilities.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends when groups are on‑site.
• Ability to stay composed under operational pressure.
