About the role
The Storekeeper ensures that all merchandise and food supplies are received, stored, and distributed efficiently across the hotel. This full‑time position supports the smooth operation of the hotel’s back‑of‑house functions while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, stage, and label merchandise by department, then deliver it to the appropriate areas.
- Inspect deliveries for freshness, quality, and accuracy; reject damaged or incorrect items.
- Store perishables properly, rotate stock, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, and food equipment.
- Report accidents, unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
- Follow all food safety, company policies, and maintain a professional appearance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb without assistance.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow safety procedures.
