Manual QA Engineer – Web & Mobile

About the role

Planner 5D is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality of its rapidly expanding suite of web, desktop and mobile applications. You will work closely with development and product teams to identify, report and help resolve software issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manually test Web (frontend and backend), iOS, Android, macOS and Windows applications.
• Execute functional, ad‑hoc, regression, smoke, integration and other testing types.
• Log defects in a bug‑tracking system and follow their lifecycle.
• Create and maintain test reports, checklists and test cases.
• Collaborate continuously with developers and product owners to improve quality.
• Propose and implement solutions for quality improvement.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency with bug‑tracking and test‑management tools.
• Experience documenting test artifacts (checklists, test cases, reports).
• Understanding of various testing types (functional, integration, regression, ad‑hoc).
• Basic knowledge of DevTools, Postman, Charles proxy, Android Studio, Xcode, GitLab.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent written and spoken English (minimum B1).
