Legal Associate – International Consulting Firm

About the role

Schneider Group is looking for an experienced Legal Associate to join its Tbilisi office. The role combines hands‑on project management with cross‑border collaboration, providing strategic legal advice to international clients entering the Georgian market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel on market entry, corporate structuring, M&A, joint ventures and restructurings.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts in English, Russian and Georgian.
• Represent clients before Georgian authorities, regulators and courts as needed.
• Oversee due‑diligence processes and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Monitor legislative developments and advise clients on their impact.
• Contribute to publications, client alerts and internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• 3‑5 years of experience in legal consulting, international law or audit firms.
• Strong background in corporate, commercial and civil law, with M&A and investment project experience.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills in English and Georgian; Russian and German are assets.
• Proven client‑relationship management and business‑oriented mindset.
